Anyone knows if I wish to add on call time for this plan, how much it cost? Can’t seem to be able to see anything on add on time or incremental call time cost

gosh... i guess that's why MyRepublic is still in "beta release" and not officially launched for a reason. :(

as others mentioned, there's problem receiving OTP from some providers too. an example being Grab.

hopefully the services will get better soon :/
I don't have any problem with otp. But hopefully all bugs can be resolved before public release.

That few days in China, it can't connect to China Mobile. Luckily yesterday onwards can liao.shall monitor next few days and see how

Okay so MR really pissed me off with their 3GB daily cap.

I'll get my 3rd MultiSIM from M1 in this case. Sucks to have the cap seriously :/

Meanwhile I went to sign up for porting over of the MR number to the Flexi Plan. Only need the number for second WhatsApp anyways so...

Hahaha hope M1 won't throttle when you exceed 300GB per month though, it's alr crazy amount for cellular data.

Myrepublic 3GB daily throttle? Are you're on the 80GB plan? So you mean after you use 3GB it slows down and speed returns to normal after 0000 hrs ?

Hmm. That's part of their fair-usage policy i guess. Different MNO or MVNO has their different sets of policy. I think 3GB a day is alot . how do you use so much ?

Well i think its totally alright to have this fair usage policy, since we have no idea who is hogging so much of the network pipeline and causes a few dun have good data experience.

He is pretty much using tethering for his family members XD

I don't have a fibre broadband so I pretty much rely on 4G at home and outside. I can easily suck up 5 or more GB per day.

I see. If that is the case, you might have to look at alternatives. Due to policy on fair data usage, all operators have to fine tune their performance, to balance load and also be fair to others.

Even USA also throttle their unlimited data plans,

My Republic VS Zero1

Calling Minutes
1000 Mins (MR) 200 Mins (Z1)

Sms
1000 (MR) 200 (Z1)

Data Speed (Hi Speed)
1GB (MR) $8 3GB (Z1)

Boundless / Unlimited Data after highspeed utilise
256Kbps (MR) 1MBPE (Z1)

Data Roaming (Malaysia / Indonesia)
1GB @ $6 (MR) No roaming service for (Z1)

My verdict
Use Both
My Rep to take advantage of its calling minutes for $8 Using sim 1 and my republic using Sim 2 for
Its unlimited data after 3GB high speed $29.90 Total I pay about $38

In term of coverage. Good that we share poor network spots

NEL is total deal breaker.

MR latency and speed is painfully slow. And I'm still not being throttled yet, can't imagine after I use the 1GB allowance. Back when I use M1, there wasn't any such latency issues.

Does anyone here knows if this is the common problem with Starhub? The signal keep switching from 4G TO H to 4G.

Even on 4G, radio can't be stream without buffering. That is on EWL above ground stations. Damn irritating

This MR really! Reject my port over to zero1 for the 2nd time saying number is not under my NRIC. Getting on my nerves. I think they stalling so they can charge my card. My billing starts on the 18th.

MR reps monitoring this thread or not? Siann

Why? Are both under the same NRIC? MR has no contract, so by right can be ported.

Porting from mvno to mvno might be still new. Perhaps some time needed.
