how to know if the incoming call is via the app or via normal gsm network ?

by looking at the incoming call user interface. if the calls are going to ur MR talk app, you are answering on the app itself. this will be obvious and cannot be wrong.

Is the termination for the ported in TPG line?

yes. now i regretted very much to port the TPG number into MR lite which that time i thought of keeping this number but end up I can easily find any much much much better free numbers from Giga.

Now with the termination, I cannot enjoy the free TPG data anymore for no reason which as all know, TPG does not terminate those trial plans sim cards as per expected 30 May 2020 and one can continue to use (which I assume it will be forever until they go away given how the TPG system works)

Another email was sent. They will cancel it by this Sunday. Let's see if they did. No worries la, it just a matter of time they will terminate all the trial user.

MR dealers near me all closed Their official stores, I have to make some effort to drop by. Will decide on Monday. Anything to take note with MR and the Lite Plan?

nothing much to take note. yeah. one of the official stores is inside amk hub.

more of the expectation. if u are coming from red and green telcos, do be reminded that u cannot expect the same coverage, singal strength or speed as per the two. it is ok for anyone, just dun expect to be as good as the two.

indoor, both my circles life and MR lines are getting 2 bars most of them. sometimes 3 bars. However, no isues with the connection which i can surft no issues even with such signal strength.

If TPG managed to switch off all its trial network on Sunday, their bandwidth will be freed up tremendously. Good for those paid users, can enjoy high speeds internet like how TPG started with the initial customers.

I can confirm that my TPG port in number to MyRepublic Mobile could not receive OTP.

MyRepublic Talk app could not.
Just now try Shopee SG website also could not.

It works. In fact if I send sms from my circles life to this MR lite number, I can receive the sms.

Just simply OTP does not work at all.

Promo now is until 30 June 2020. This has been extended. Whether will be extended again, need to wait till close to 30 June 2020 then will know.

there is no what if. They won't want to do that.

I'm on their limited-time promotion plan $8/mth since 2 years ago. They didn't change their plans or price.

my MR lite line that i requested to terminate on the last day of the current life cycle which is on 15 June 2020, few hours back suddenly showed no service.

WTF. dun know if it is the stoopig CSO who handled my termination request had made a mistake which she terminated the line even before the actual termination date requested.
