So let's say I call using the app from Singapore to Malaysia is 6 cents/min

But if I call from Malaysia to Singapore? Also 6?

Outgoing Calls from the MR talk app to lion city is fixed at 5¢ per minute no matter where you are. be it in lion city or while roaming in bolehland.

Wah good pricing eh. If call back from UK all also 5 cents, best value in the market

yes, absolutely, not to mention the fact, you can even receiving incoming calls to your number for free (if you turn on the call forwarding) to the MR talk app while you are roaming. The calls will be deducted from the free talktime u have for your plan without paying extra.

this is an extra plus point for MR and it is definitely suitable to anyone who travels overseas often.

There is no mention in app that the recurring booster is on promo price and the price will be reverted later etc.

My guess is if u activate it now it should be continue at the price due to recurring unless u cancel it.

Sorry don't get what you mean by that. Are you referring to a call to another phone getting forwarded to MR #?

Care to explain?

-ported over giga on sat night
-just signed up myrepublic for 30th June for easy billing on the first. Pending approval now.

Just wanted to check with the folks here, I can activate the simcard on the 30th and billing will be 1st. That's confirmed? Or I have to activate on 1st?

So silly have to do all this work to upgrade plan and change out of starhub network. sighz

there is no such thing as activation of you can do once the card is delivered, it is automatically activated. if you have requested to port in number, a temp number will be issued first.

The way I understood it is, the incoming calls to SIM will land on the app which may be on another device.

Does that mean the app restricts the the SIM being identified by two different devices? If I have two other devices other the phone, can I have the both the devices use the one SIM #?

MR Talk needs data to work regardless incoming or outgoing.

Incoming call will deduct from the bundled talktime that comes with your plan.

Outgoing call will be chargeable on a per min basis. You can view the rate at MR website.

Your billing cycle will begin from the delivery date. In other words, your card is immediately activated on delivery.

If you want it to start on the 1st, you have to select delivery date on 29/30/31/01.

Oh, outgoing call is immediately chargeable regardless of how much remaining talktime you have?

Incoming call need to have data and Mr app? I thot u only need to activate the Mr talk call forwarding and no need data overseas already

In order to use MR Talk app, you need to be connected to the internet (be it via cellular data or wifi).

When you call forward to MR designated number, the call gets routed to your MR Talk app via the Internet. So without Internet, you can't make or receive calls via MR Talk app.

When you receive incoming call via MR Talk app, it will be charged to your outgoing bundled talktime.

When you make outgoing calls via MR Talk app, it will be charged as pay per use. It will not be deducted from your remaining bundled talktime.
