In the Jurong West area, I think MyRepublic's signal is weaker than TPG, only one or two bars on the iPhone.

Does MyRepublic have a plan to improve the signal?

You are rite. TPG has better coverage and stronger signal. Inside the house, this difference ie very obvious for TPG and MyRepublic.

However, at least there is no issue in terms of data connection with the 1 to 2 bars signal. I am getting 1 to 2 bars on my iPhone.
Only issue is probably the battery life. I did share my experience before, I had used Singtel, Starhub, Circles Life with the same period of time. I can 100% confirmed that the battery of my iPhone X drops faster on Circle Life. (Although some people disagree on this, but i can confirm this is a fact. At least from my real life experience)

I had the exact same experience but at amk area.
Hence, port out from Mr to vivifi.
Now gets 5 bars with strong signal.
My area Singtel & SH network coverage is better than MR (M1). Even tpg also better than MR (M1) too.

this is confirmed. I had used singtel and starhub before, comparing to them, both MR and Circles life that are on M1 network have much poorer coverage, signal and average speed. Even TPG has better coverage (except undergroound MRT) and speed than MR or CL.
For example, I only get 13.2Mbps DL and 8.19 UL on my circles life. TPG can easiy hit 20 to 30Mbps++ of speed for both UL and DL.
If Singtel, can easily hit close to or above 100Mbps most of the time. Starhub can easily hit 60 to 70Mbps on average also.

I did a test on the MR talk app. I turn on the call forwarding of my MR number to the MR talk app.

Then I call using the CL number on my mobile to the MR number. The MR talk is installed on the same mobile of the CL number that I used to call.

End up the call straightaway go to voicemail. and immediately go to voicemail, 1 min talktime is deducated from my 300 mins. This is the same as what most of you guys mentioned here, voicemail will eat up talktime.

Just curious how come when I call to MR number, the MR talk app does not indicate there is incoming call but straightaway go to voicemail?
By rite I call using cellular (CL) to an app using Internet, it should not affect each other rite although they are both on the same device? haha.

For MyRepublic Lite, on normal cellular phone calls in lion city, it is quite good, however if using the myrepublic talk app to call overseas, it seems like the call quality is so so only. I made a few calls to fixed lines or mobile lines in bolehland, seems like the other parties could not hear me very clearly.

Anyone encounters the same thing?

how to do so?

All MyRepublic plans will come with voicemail and Missed call notification.

There is no monthly recurring fee. However, outgoing call charges of $0.05 per min apply for voicemail deposit and retrieval. The charge is deductible from the free voice bundle included in your mobile plan (e.g. 1000 mins).

Our voicemail service can store up to 40 voicemail messages.

Simply dial 1334 / +65 8754 1334 / +65 8874 1334 on your mobile to listen to your voicemail now.

you can go into the settling from here (uno plan) not sure about how M1 works.

Didn't encounter yet. As voice are transmitted over 4G or WiFi, it's like VOLTE. So should have crystal clear voice. However, both parties must have volte to hear each other clearly.

If you have volte, the other part is using fixed analog line, then it's not volte or digital call. Also maybe their mobile lines tak boleh volte.

You try again with both parties with volte.

Yes, even I'm on UNO Starhub, using the app, I also get digital crystal clear voice.

i see. ok.

Some of the calls I made are to JB fixed lines. Obviously fixed line cannot be VOLTE unless they are on digital voice lines that are come together with the fixed line fibre broadband. As a lot of jb fixed lines are still on copper wire lines, which I supposed this may be the issues of the poor voice quality?

Yes, i guess so. This is what i feel that it should be the way. If both ends have VOLTE or on digital line, should hear each other clearly.

I tried calling people without VOLTE while i'm using VOLTE, sound quality feels the same. But when i'm calling someone with volte, the dialling becomes instant and voice become crystal clear.

When you test something, you should have a base.

Your first test is (A) cellular call to (1) lion city (fixed or mobile line?)

Your second test is (B) MR app to (2) JB fixed line

I personally used MR app to SG VoLTE mobile line and Cellular VoLTE to SG VoLTE mobile line and Cellular non VoLTE to SG VoLTE line for testing. In all cases, the Cellular non VoLTE is inferior in quality.

The 4th test done was Cellular VoLTE to SG non VoLTE mobile line which is also inferior quality lacking clarity.

You have to Ensure boleh land mobile lines support VoLTE to determine if MR App is useful for voice quality and clarity purpose.

Can I check for the lite plan? Promo till end of June? High chance they will extend?

They have extended for 3 times already, I think likely they will extend since it is getting sales for them. However, if you are afraid you can't get a lite plan as you are on a contract, you can port in later.

i see. looks like it will the kind of quality expected. my multiple calls to jb fixed line numbers can confirm this.

as per my earlier posts, i mentioned that i called to jb fixed line and also mobile line.

I had experienced both and I can certain that mostly the voice quality will be bad as jb fixed lines are mostly copper wire line that confirmed will have no VOLTE support. so if one is calling jb fixed lines, he will likely to have the same experience as me. this can be certain.

mobile lines in bolehland also same like lion city, not all support VOLTE too. chances again 50% 50%. and since it is recipient issues, we have no control too.
