Do MR extend any offers if demanded? Recently argued with CL and got 3 months unlimited calls and $20 off by quoting $10 plans around.

But I was demanding them to give me 10GB, 500 minutes outgoing, unlimited incoming, 25 sms, free callerid - all for $10. Since they did not move more than a month since, I told them I am jumping ship.

Signed up. Don’t need to deposit anything. Why is there a need to deposit anything when signing up for a mobile line? Didn’t get 88 ending numbers but at least two pairs of repeated double digits. The numbers selection wasn’t that great but I’m happy with the one I picked.

What’s the app for except to check usage and pay bills? Can do on desktop too. I thought can check to see if there’s voicemail.

I think I will dump Zero1 soon. Just have to figure out the billing cycle. If deduct from card tomorrow, I will have up to half of July to terminate it.

How long have you been using Zero1? It's using singtel but how's the speed before throttling?

hahaha. seems like everyone is pursuing the same types of numbers which is 88 suffix. actually i think as long as the number looks nice. even not 88 sufix also nice numbers. yeah. a lot of repeatable digits make the number look nice too.

I signed up at AMK Hub on 070620. The billing is from 070620 to 060720.
The billable amount of $10 is reflected in MR app, and payable on 1506200 via credit card. Hopes it clear your doubts.

yes, i signed up there too. that day when i went there, they said the government service for verification of IC is down so ended up i waited about 30 to 45 mins and went back to the store only managed to sign up. quite unstable haha.

yes, the bill will appear 2 to 3 days after signed up. very fast.

As soon as TPG came out with their billing plan I started asking them. They said they will come with a suitable plan. I continued to push what can you offer me until you come with your new plan, first they gave me 3 month unlimited outgoing (May-Jul). Then I raised that doesn't solve my demand which is $10/month plan, they extended $20 waiver which I got in May bill.

I see, maybe I looked at the broadband side FAQ. But their FAQ and T&C abit messy, don't know for fibre or mobile.

Agreed. The T&C is pretty confusing as they tend to combine links together. There are several of links which are outdated, linking to Error 404 Page not found too.

Hopefully, MR will allow changing of billing cycle for mobile in the near future so that I can align all my plans to the 1st of each month.

yeah. they do not allow change of billing cycle. just now i live chat to request to terminate my 2nd mr lite line on the last date of billing cycle i did ask about this as well.

however, to be fair, for mobile lines on MVNOs, the billing cycles are so crucial thing since they are on auto payment mode using credit card. one does not need to manage the billing until they want to terminate or port out.

I mentioned somewhere in this thread before that I’m not a power user. About a year and the half with Zero1. I only know that after the 1GB limit, you get annoying SMSes and browsing the web is super damn slow. Downloading from G Play store also very slow. A few seconds download becomes like two minutes or more. But Zero1 gave me 3GB recently FOC for sticking around and now I’m about to dump them.



I don’t need so many 88. If I can get something like this 88*77*66, I’m very satisfied already.

I like the unlimited data feature of MyRepublic. That way my kids can budget their 6GB monthly data; if they exceed it then they'll still be able to use data (and be contacted via OTT apps like WhatsApp) but very slow. So it's up to them to use it responsibly...

totally no need to worry about extra cost at all. $10 is the nett price to pay monthly.

and users will not complain too since the line is still usable even exceed 6GB since it comes with unlimited data although at slow speed.

this plan is better than $5 circles life plan even for them.

Yeah. It's a good plan to teach kids to gauge their usage and if they exceed, it will be slowed down.

May & June instead of 18+18=36, it became $16. That is short term benefit. This month I told them, since I could not see their new plan, I am moving out. Thus I am going to sign-up for MR Lite which will happen by this month end.

myrepublic lite monthly recurring boosters are actually very cheap now.

just extra $5.99 can get extra 10GB which it makes it only $15.99 for 16GB, not bad deal actually.
