If circles flexi and $5 plan can adopt this pricing, I Guess many people will be more willing to pay for it:

myrepublic lite monthly recurring boosters are actually very cheap now.

just extra $5.99 can get extra 10GB which it makes it only $15.99 for 16GB, not bad deal actually.

MR UNO never get the data to upsize!

Can conclude partner with M1 is much better than StarHub due to the cheaper rate given to the MVNO.
Circles can afford 100gb with rollover. MR Plans are more affordable right now.

unlikely they will do it. they purposely make the $5 plan a 'half-baked' plan that does not come with the full features that forces those non-light users to move up to the $18 base plan. :D

You are right. Based on my observation their intent is extract an avg $18-28 from every user. They only add marketing gimmicks to aim at this.

Ok this promo is good for some user say wanna add 6+3GB

$16.00 for 16 GB not very wow. Grid $18 for 20GB (singtel network but no unlimited data).

But effort that they make it flexible for their customer. But need to do your math carefully to see if this is worth $10 + extra data

16gb for $16

Hopefully they offer 10gb for $10 soon
It's getting lower and less expensive.

$6 for 10GB is not bad deal i must.

grid $18 has much lesser free talktime and sms for those really need to call more. of course the plus is they are on red telco.

importantly it is an monthly recurring boosters which can actually be cancelled. i think a good flexibility for MR lite plan users.

Talk app can install on iPad or other phone. You can call out if u need to.

Lucky you.

Nope. But very confusing bills. Must read every line like 10 times.

Not roaming any time soon. So the app is useless unless I want to use it as a phone dialler. Then I read that need to do call forward. Not clear but I don’t think it’s necessary for me at the mean time.

My number sounds like da da ti ta ta do re mi. So quite easy to remember.

Hi Bros. Would like to check ah

Let's say my MR lite line billing is 22 may - 21 Jun. Then I wanna port over my giga number (1st to 1st) to this existing MR lite line maybe say 29-30 Jun. I should request for port in on 26-27 right? To avoid paying for the following month

And if I port after my bil is renewed, technically my giga number is still on the same billing cycle as my current mr lite number right (22-21)

Since both the accounts exist the only thing you need to be mindful is to ensure your giga # is ported out before the current month is over so that you don't get billed for the subsequent month.

MR billing cycle should not matter here as only your phone # is changing.

Anyone having experience of using MR IDD packs like IDD 60, 150, 500 etc? How is quality of line?

dun think will ever use it. will just use the MR app to make cheap IDD calls. i am now more curious about the actual charges of those IDD calls i had made on the MR app. should be very cheap though since the website stated that it is only 6 cents per min.

https://mobile.myrepublic.com.sg/roaming/talk/idd

yes, limited time. just wonder if activate now at promo now, after promo time it will be reverted back to original price or once activated as recurring booster, the promo price will stay unless cancel it at later time?

your MR lite billing cycle will never change unless you terminate the line even for porting number in from other telcos. ur bill charge will not change either.

just ensure ur request to port in at least 2 to 3 working days of the last day of billing cycle for your giga to avoid being charged for extra one more month.

just wonder when will circles.life or myrepublic have the esim ready.

then next time can really combine the main line (esim) with other cheap plans for extra data to compliment it for the best combo plans to use monthly on the go.

If I go down to the physical store, also take 2-3 working days?

You mean call through MR Talk app is different from the IDD pack such that it is is for non-data call? Interesting.

Since it is add-on pack, the pricing may be temporary unlike the basic plan offer they provide which retains the offer price. So as soon as the pricing changes, subsequent months we will end up paying higher unlike the base plans. I think that way.

yes, different. normal one is using cellular network to call. same like how you make a cellular call from ur mobile line for local calls too.

one is using internet connection and call via their app (VOIP).

as a comparison, the normal one will cost 12 cents/min to call bolehland but MR talk app only cost 6 cents/min.

So let's say I call using the app from Singapore to Malaysia is 6 cents/min

But if I call from Malaysia to Singapore? Also 6?
