last night MR updated my UNO8 starhub to M1 and will change name to Myrepublic 8 on the next bill cycle....so confirmed using M1 network from today.

Do you mind to GPGT the MyRepublic app showing the "MyRepublic 8"??

I am curious for $8 uno plan, is it by this December 2020 billing cycle shall migrate to m1 infrastructure.

my billing cycle starts on 7th of every month but it stated that the billing name will be MyRepublic 8 instead of UNO8

Don't bother, they will tell you network is fine, your place have thick walls that they can't do anything about.

migrated to M1 gave you VoLTE.

As per the email it mentioned that it shall be 2GB of data, the 2GB only last for 1 month (only next billing cycle) or forever 2GB??

I asked MyRepublic Customer care, they are not aware of the MyRepublic 8 Plan or the Migration.

Like that I shall I continue to enjoy the Starhub Network until further notice.

I understand that but previously I was on M1 and Circles and both didn't have such issue, so not sure why myRepublic has so many issues with the network. My case was that in my office (Kallang area) although phone showed full 5 bars 4G+ reception, mobile data just could not load anything, not even sending out and receiving WhatsApp messages. I had to switch to my TPG line for that (imagine that).

Had the same issue on my iPhone 11 Pro. Need to toggle flight mode on & off to fix the no data issue.

This no data issue have been ongoing since Apr, hence I do not expect MyRepublic to fix this issue any time soon.

I have moved to giga earlier this Monday, though no VOLTE, no regret.

With giro available and decent data/talk time package, i am intending to sign.
What are some disadvantages of this provider? From feedback it seem reception is quite okay, want to find out other cons especially in terms of customer service.

I am porting over from singtel sim only plan current 20/month.
Considered and ruled out the following:
1. singtel sim only 12 month contract at 25/month. (cost exceed current)
2. singtel gomo base 12 month contract at 20/month (no giro)
3. TPG 10/month no contract (bad reviews)

MR don’t have 24/7 hotline, only office hours. If no problem don’t need to call hotline

They tell you need deposit before you sign up or after ?
I am thinking to port over but dun like the idea of giving deposit.

So far no other telco ask for deposit except for those WP holders.
