MR is a terrible company. They continue to charge me on my credit card even after I have cancelled the mobile lines more than a month ago.
Have they refund you the $100 deposit yet?
I terminated my line end-Mar and still no sight of my deposit after 2 months. Do I need to chase them or will they refund after 2 months ah?

Don't understand why they need 2 months to return the deposit. Never going to be their customer again!

Got option in the app
My bad. I only have the option to convert from legacy $10 6gb to the new $10 8gb plan. The current offer of $8 10gb plan is not available for existing customers. :(

Pioneer batch of MR users like myself is paying $8 for 2GB of data. :D

Doesn't really affect me as I am using another SIM for data. But somehow MR does not practise "auto-grading" of existing users.

So what is stopping u from changing to the new plan? It's just 2 click from the app.

No diff on the surface, but not sure about other hidden stuff.

actually 2gb more is insignificant for me since this is my spare line (used to be for Pokémon) but I am keeping it as the MR app is quite good for overseas use.

I am using a 2nd sim for data (TPG $10 for 100GB). So no point for me to upgrade to $10 for 6GB.

Just commenting base on how a company values existing customers, which is almost non-existent in present times.

exactly..they rather go thru all the stupid administration work then to offer existing customer a better deal..

I was with TPG for a while but following pts made me stopped:
1) 30days monthly plan instead of a fix date - damn messy with checking bill
2) poor connectivity in most part of SG
3) even in places with good connection, the speed is erratic..

+ point is free roaming to Msia

did it improve over this year ?

TPG has improved tremendously since the old days, can barely feel the difference from the likes of ST and M1, the MNO lines that I also use. I'd been using the combo of MR/TPG and MR/CM in an iPhone before I finally decided to port those 2 lines over.

My speed test on tpg is still showing download of 20-40mbps (at times i hit 2-5pmbps at the evening)

However tpg data speed good enough for normal internet surfing and video.

Personally I Feel thaf tpg is faster during trial (less customer during trial).

Signal strength for TPG is good but down/upload Speed is still lower then ST/SH and M1.

$10 Plan can't demand much. Anyway 4G is end of life soon, so don't think TPG would wanna invest money into 4G.

Thanks for the update on TPG...will definately consider again if MR service drop or TPG become more attractive
