Does anyone know the technical reasons why iPhone 12 is not supported on everyone's 5G SA network?
iPhone 12 supports all n1 (2100 MHz), n40 (TD 2300) and n78 (TD 3500) bands used by the three telcos for their 5G SA networks.
Ask Apple why they die die don't want to enable Standalone Access support.
Modem supports it, so it's not Qualcomm's problem.

Usually if I apply port out say today, when will the port out happen? My bill ends 31 Jan for current telco so if I sign today at shop will I make it in time to get ported out by 31?
Normally is 3 working days. Sat & Sun excluded and not counting the day of application so might not make it.
Suggest u do it next month ba to be safe. Give it 5 working days to be safe in case of issue.

Hi, I just went to a MR shop in person. They have a lower 5G plan aka "5G standard plan" that is not publicised on website. Cost $17.95, 80Gb and 1000 each for sms and outgoing calls.

Hoping SH is better than M1.

Just sharing. :)

This is not a bad deal, bummer that it's not available on their website.
I did my upgrade from MR 4G to 5G the day they announced 5G plans. I logged into my account and Standard Plan was also available. I didn’t know of that plan before and was pleasantly surprised. I chose Standard plan and eSIM.

How is the 5G on M1? I was thinking whether to subscribe or not.

I feel 5g network and speed are quite okay, load pretty fast. Just the 4g is quite frustrating - 2 or 3 out of 4 bars but sometimes not loading.

Just did a speedtest ; location - bukit panjang on 5g https://ibb.co/j5kW7BZ

I have been using M1 about 15+ years. So want to see if starhub is better. My wife using CL so can't compare.
