It is not about needing 5G. MR 5G plan is the ONLY plan in Singapore at this moment which offer eSIM without riding on the M1 network. That by itself is good enough for me to sign up a 5G eSIM plan but setting my phone to LTE.Maybe switch my Circles.Life $0 plan to eSIM. Don’t know can or not or they will terminate my line.
Cheapest 5G is around $20. MyRepublic plan, I believe. But I don’t need 5G.
11pm or so your previous Telco service will be disconnected.I went to the shop to sign up for the new 5g plan and port in my m1 number yesterday.
While waiting for the port-in sms, I put in both sim cards (MR and M1). Although I haven't received any sms on successfully port-in yet, my phone already showed no sim provision for my m1 sim card close to midnight. Still no sms yet, but when I call out and sms now, already showing my port in number. Quite fast sia.
So you went yesterday and port out was done yesterday night?I went to the shop to sign up for the new 5g plan and port in my m1 number yesterday.

Yeah. Was expecting like 2 to 3 working days. Did not expect so fast.11pm or so your previous Telco service will be disconnected.

CorrectSo you went yesterday and port out was done yesterday night?
I switched to MR 5G plan on the first day and I have been satisfied with both the reception and, most of all, no more switching to airplane mode and backThose that are already on MR 5G plan, can gather ur feedback on the receptions and signal?
Pls let us know as u explore ard+1 on this. Day 1 and so far feel better and reliable than M1. Still need to monitor. Haven't really travelled to more places.
Definitely better than M1, 5G access mostly outdoor areas w no issues. Those that are already on MR 5G plan, can gather ur feedback on the receptions and signal?
SA = Standalone / True 5GI am seeing NR SA too. I am a little confused. Is this the non standalone?
Which means I should see SA only instead of NR SA for standalone?SA = Standalone / True 5G
