I probably want to sign up for the MYR 5G $17.95 plan too since it is the only cheapest plan that uses StarHub network with esim.
Why they can do esim on StarHub network, why StarHub themself still unable to do esim on their own network uh? So puzzling lol

Thanks all for your input. Made the leap of faith and still switch to MyRepublic 5G despite CSO said 5G esim not supported with iPhone 12.
Glad to say the esim works but the phone doesn’t get 5G only 4G. Just ported today and hope that the connection is better than M1.
Your apn is StarHub or m1 network?

Yes this is what perplexes me too. Singtel and Starhub continues to not implement esim on their networks.

Pretty sure its shwap - Starhub, lets see the response.
This had been confirmed by a user before. Just do a search for APN in this thread. Besides, iphone 12 had been reported to not work on 5G SA networks before. But I'm not sure if whether this is a hardware limitation or can it upgraded via iOS update.

I believe it's because iphone 12 don't support local 5G SA. It's missing from starhub and M1 5G SA list of supported devices too.
Yes, apparently the phone hardware supports 5G SA but it’s not supported in this region. Can only pray Apple to roll it out in future updates 😂. But so far pretty happy with StarHub 4G esim.

so far from reading the hwz posts, MR 5G seems most value for money and robust (in comparison). Tempted to get. Will be changing from my $10 TPG cos underground carpark no reception.
