lol from deprioritised M1 network to another deprioritised M1 network. Experience likely to be similar.

I’m so sick of the deprioritised network that I’m now on full fledge M1 plan and is far happier.
Not the best but certain SingTel MVNO gave me enough cancer to not even consider them anymore. Maybe in the future another ST MVNO but that’s until the current contract with the certain ST MVNO is over.

I'm not sure if a M1 subscription would beat out Singtel/Starhub MVNOs though, haven't other M1 subscribers also been complaining about their service?

I'm not saying M1 is perfect, that's for sure, but it isn't as bad as last time alr, both on 4G and 5G.

SingTel 4G is still overall better, but I've three concurrent contracts with that specific MVNO, yet they can't even render proper service at all.

Contract 1 & Contract 2: Name forcefully moved to another party because of their useless database. Roaming Access and Add-On VASes barred too.
Contract 3: Told them to port in, one week later still nothing submitted. Cancelled port in and signed M1 contract instead.

After the contracts expire, I'm leaving for good.

I might consider other ST MVNOs if the need arise in the future and the price is reasonable. Now with pricing increases and network performance deteriorating thanks to (de)prioritization and reduction in 3G/4G spectrum allocation for 5G, it's harder and harder to justify the premium.

Actually recently for SingTel, i need to airplane mode and off to load website. I do not know if it is location or my phone issue. The 5G icon is there but website just wont load.

Perhaps you can share your phone model and where were you at so others can comment if they face such issues too.
Then we can know whether its phone/location or otherwise.

I just checked ipcc files for iPhone 12. It is enabled for 3 telcos in China and 3 in US. Not for "China model", but for when you plug in a chinese SIM or US SIM.
ok not all carriers in the US. Only for T-Mobile. So T-Mobile, china mobile, china telecom and china unicom only.

Yes, Apple track based on the IMSI, not based on carrier/country variant.

You can have the CH/A (China) variant of iPhone 12 series, but if you insert non-Chinese SIM cards, you'll still not get 5GNR SA.

Likewise, even if you have the ZP/A (Singapore) variant, with Chinese SIM Cards, you're likely to have the option to connect to 5GNR SA.

I'm having a dilemma whether to keep my CL line(55GB - 4G) at $8 or MR (80GB - 5G) at $17.95
