What phone?

If iPhone, it might just be that it can detect 5G but not actually connected, especially if you set as 5G Auto.
This is a well known "feature" of iOS.

Must cover yourself mah. If your boss ask how long you need to complete the task, do you give the fastest possible speed or a more realistic time frame for yourself

They sent the QR code email just now, I got the service already.

It is a pity though that I couldn't get VoLTE to work... the connection drops to 3G/H when I make or receive a call. Pixel 6a.

No VOLTE ? That's disappointing, Starhub MVNOs not actively getting VOLTE to work with Pixel phones. I switched over from GIGA ( another Starhub MVNO ) to RedOne last year mainly for price. But I was pleasantly surprised that my P6a have VOLTE working.

I think device issue. I'm getting VoLTE on MR 5G plan. But it been awhile my device connect to 5G Not sure what happen.

should be auto i guess, you can check the app after 6mth if the roam still exist in the plan

MR 5G most likely does have VOLTE but not for Pixel devices currently. It's a telco+device manufacturer problem. I never got VOLTE on Giga ( starhub ) until I switched to RedOne ( also starhub ) for my Pixel phone.

I am actually not that bothered with the lack of VoLTE other than during driving when making/receiving calls really screws up with the navigation apps due to the lack of internet.

Quite frustrating, this 5G to LTE transition or vice versa, often the network will just disconnect there (calls can't be received) and reconnecting is very slow. If limiting it to LTE then less such issues.
