I recently downloaded the MySejahtera app on android, after much tries. I tried registering with both app and in browser. But has anyone manage to register in the MySejahtera app as a Singaporean? As particularly in the registration page. There is a column ' State ' and its all Malaysian state. There seems to be no option to choose country and state. Please advise if anyone manages to register themselves in the app.

Frankly speaking, they expect us to also download their contact tracing app. But they dont provide proper tools.

I read from another source stating contact tracing is abolished as of 1st April

you still need to use the app to proof your vaccination status even if they remove the need for contact tracing.

Wah then you go in that time they ask, then you ask them teach you how to select 'Singaporean' or 'Singapore' in the app.

Q: What documents, mobile apps do I need?

While you dust off your passport, ensure that it is valid for at least six months.

If you're travelling to Malaysia, you'll need to download, register and activate the MySejahtera application on your mobile phone. This is what Malaysia uses to check your vaccination status and facilitate contact tracing.

Malaysia's Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) has, on that note, released a list of frequently asked questions (FAQs) that travellers who are entering Malaysia can take note of. It covers various aspects of the vaccinated travel across the land borders - from a traveller's vaccination status, to a traveller's mode of land transport - and they are as follows:

Q Who are the eligible travellers under the Malaysia-Singapore vaccinated travel?

  • Fully-vaccinated travellers with COVID-19 vaccines recognised by Malaysia's Ministry of Health (MOH)
  • Fully-vaccinated travellers who are also short-term visitors from other countries for all purposes of travel.
Q How are you deemed eligible to be fully-vaccinated?

  • For individuals who are aged 18 to 59, any one of the following scenarios are applicable:
    • vaccinated with Sinovac - two doses (partially vaccinated); three doses (fully-vaccinated)
    • vaccinated with Sinopharm - two doses (partially vaccinated); three doses (fully-vaccinated)
    • vaccinated with Pfizer/Moderna/AstraZeneca/Covaxin/Covishield/Novavax/Sputnik V - two doses (fully-vaccinated); three doses ('boostered')
    • vaccinated with CanSino/Janssen/Sputnik Light - two doses (fully-vaccinated); three doses ('boostered')
  • For individuals who are aged 60 and above, any one of the following scenarios are applicable:
    • vaccinated with Sinovac - two doses (partially vaccinated); three doses (fully-vaccinated)
    • vaccinated with Sinopharm - two doses (partially vaccinated); three doses (fully-vaccinated)
    • vaccinated with Pfizer/Moderna/AstraZeneca/Covaxin/Covishield/Novavax/Sputnik V - two doses (partially vaccinated); three doses (fully-vaccinated)
    • vaccinated with CanSino/Janssen/Sputnik Light - two doses (partially vaccinated); three doses (fully-vaccinated)
Q What are the travel requirements for crossing the Malaysia-Singapore land border?

  • Eligible travellers will not be subjected to pre-departure or on-arrival COVID-19 testing;
  • Children who are aged 12 and below will qualify for quarantine-free travel under the vaccinated travel into Malaysia without the need to show proof of vaccination;
  • Travellers are encouraged to use facilities such as EZ-Link or Touch 'n Go Motoring Card for swift movement across the border, and
  • Travellers entering Malaysia are required to download, register, and activate the MySejahtera app.
Q What are the categories of vehicles allowed under the vaccinated land travel?

  • Vaccinated-travel bus services operated by Malaysia and/or Singapore bus operators;
  • All public transport/services vehicles including chartered factory buses, cross-border bus services, employee buses, tour/express buses and taxi;
  • All private motor cars and motorcycles, and
  • Pedestrians are permitted to walk across the causeway.

I registered a few days ago, didn't want to put my actual address so I filled in the address line as Singapore, State: Johor.
Uploaded my vaccination docs, let's see if they come back to me or they will just update the vax status in the app.
Even the Malaysians themselves are getting upset over the security of the data collected from the app. After looking at their app, it makes me appreciate our TraceTogether app more.

Precisely. Why I am saying from the start. I read up that MySejahtera is an app made for Malaysians. So how do we actually able to download and register to Mysejahtera app once we enter the border.
