Guys, I need some help/advise. I use the XDA Toolkit v2.0 to root my Note 2 LTE. I didn't install any recovery as I just want to use Titanium Backup, but not flashing any custom rom. After rooting, everything else seems fine so far except my S-Pen stop working. Is that suppose to happen?

Thanks in advance.

i did the same thing as u and my s pen is ok leh. how about do a factory reset?

Hey guys. So I have rooted my note 2. It show modified in settings. I just rooted to use root explorer and titanium backup. Other than that I am still using stock fw.

What are the recommended root apps to enhance my phone example to have a better battery life or other good features. What do you guys recommend?

No I'm not, I'm adding more info to it. You didn't mention anything about using HTC's official tool to unlock and that using that tool would definitely void warranty , did you?

ok no problem.
Obviously maybe the warranty out for SG but lucky enough my HTC got no problem with it and I've pass down to my kid already and now im using Note2 LTE.

Mine's the same. I think I misread your post.. you said u used mskip's toolkit is it? I used CF Root. That's the diff.. But I used mskip's toolkit many times before on my previous phones, all works very well and they should be very similar in terms of how they root. Why not you go and try another SPen at the Samsung store that is for their demo phone and see if it's your SPen that is faulty or not?

If u want, can flash custom recovery and flash a different kernel. Not much to choose from if you're on the LTE version though... the most 'branded' one is Perseus

Tried searching for "eMMC" or "brick" in this thread but no hits.

Are there any eMMC bug for N7105 ?

Yes, I used mskip's toolkit. Sorry for not being detailed. I am quite sure the S-Pen is ok as it starts working again after I flash my note 2 back to stock rom with odin. Maybe I did something wrong while rooting.

Anyway I will try CF Root this time. Can I confirm if you are using this CF Root?
