TS, can I just check with you, since I have quite some amount of SMS needs to be transferred to a new smartphone (Either Micro or Nano SIM) froma Mini Sim phone, hence should I cut my SIM card first, or should I port the SMS first (But how to slot the Mini SIM into Micro SIM without cutting first)?

As much as I wished to, the existing phone is Samsung SGH-Z560 and might upgrade to iPhone 5S.

So, ya, very old phone that cannot find the Samsung PC Studio to do the job.

how to do that?

You can backup your SIM card to your computer using SIM card reader :) You can try searching on eg, Ebay for SIM Card Readers
Would advise you to backup first though I think it should be safe to just cut it straight.
