Moi just watch the fireworks from one of Boat Quay restaurants. Quite surprised that got some restaurants that still have empty seats facing the river. Guess business not so good
I am from low ses and at most a corporal during NS. So cannot afford prime condos. Where can I bring my kid to watch ndp fireworks for free during rehearsal this year at Padang? A bit far away is okay, as long as see good enuff
I seriously have my doubts that MBS knows how to control big crowds effectively. First it was the dragon drone show which was badly handled. Then yesterday during NDP preview, they closed a lot of exit and entry points, which created many choke points along the building. Inexplicably, they also closed off the external lower deck and put up many boardings outside, resulting in narrower paths. Instead of ensuring smooth human traffic flow, they somehow decided potential choke point death traps are the way to go. One person even fainted from being caught in the crowd. A future stampede is inevitable given how it seems MBS is incapable of handling large crowds.
Always thought they launched it from the empty fields near padang. You took the pics at MBS at the promontory or boardwalk? So its launched at the water body in front of one Fullerton?
