NDP rehearsal where can watch fireworks as peasant?

I am from low ses and at most a corporal during NS. So cannot afford prime condos. Where can I bring my kid to watch ndp fireworks for free during rehearsal this year at Padang? A bit far away is okay, as long as see good enuff

Near Marina Bay MRT.. reclaimed land, not much highrise buildings blocking view.
Once fireworks over, can take train home in less crowded setting

This year Naval divers parachute down near to Esplanade water. And Commandos Red Lions as usual.

The photographers tio'ed pwn by the fireworks timing. About 5min burst at 8:12pm then stopped. Most packed up by 8:30pm and left. End up another major and minor burst with finales at 8:50pm.

No idea, but from past experience every year first rehearsal the timings very wonky one, including the fireworks. Things will stabilize as it goes on.

Ya every year the first rehearsal the fireworks go off late cos after the rehearsal got debrief then after that let off all the fireworks.

Marina barrage is free admissions....a wide plain open area there probably can house 200,000 people... Just pick a spot and stand in the open field...it's free.
