i am in this ward, i am pretty sure PAP will get the upper hand here.

LBW did alot around Khatib area, most residents in Khatib likes and support her very much.

If you stay around Khatib you will know why.

I know LBW very well - had some email and personal discussions with her on several issue including some related to the behaviors of some of her grassroots people. I am very far from impressed. Attended a dialogue session . Came at 4pm and keep, repeating she needs to leave by 5pm for another event. Spent half of her presentation about her life in Malaysia. Completely out of focus. Seems like she was just paying lip service. For the kind of residents in khatib she would be good and suitable for them. If predominantly educated people, she would not have much support.

i concur with chiur prediction. Though i don't like the PAP much, but LBW and the law minister really do alot.

Next time push LBW harder. Attend one of her dialogue sessions asking some probing qns. I am very sure you will walk away with a different opinion. Do not just judge her on work done on the ground which is done by her grassroots balls carriers anyway.

Sorry I will not be voting for her.

residents not educated ?

Profile of residents is very average lah. It is Yishun after all. Of course got some educated or very educated but generally easy to psycho residents who do not have the ability to look and analyse beyond the superficiality . I grew up in this area and should know the profile of residents very well.

ground work is not all done by her grassroots ball carriers..

she organises weekend litter picking and she herself joins in and plus she attends funerals late at night.

got once she came to my waipo funeral at 10.30pm++ close to 11pm..even sat for a while offer condolences then left.

our side requested eps parking and had to wait for 2yrs despite numerous requests sent to her...
