So this is what I have after the changes but I realised that I forgot to mention that I want something with Asus Aura or something similar to control the led strip.(looking for the music effect, the H7 quad lumi also has this effect which is why I want it)

Any recommended 1440p monitor for this build? and how much will it cost?

Your Asus Mobo should have a Asus aura header to connect the RGD LED strip to. Just need to download the aura software to control the RGB LED strip. The aura software has a setting to control the lighting via music.

27" monitor with 1440p@60hz est will be ard 700+ (those standard brand), korean monitor 400+/500 the minimum

Some comments since you wanna keep it low

GPU - wait for qoo10 sale for $100 coupon and get a zotac 1070 twinfan for approx 488

RAM - Get from amazon @
140ish

PSU - superflower leadex silver @100

Relook your cpu and mobo choices, you are getting a non k cpu and a z board

If you insist on asus, you can currently get an asus z270h strix for about 250 with the 60 coupon

If you dont intend to overclock, the intel stock cooler will do and you can scrap that additional cooler.

Does the $100 apply to the amp extreme as well?

I'm afraid to get from there tho, no local warranty right?

Is that brand reliable? I don't want to have to replace it.

there are no budget mobo that i know of that have aura like capabilities though

How loud are the intel stock coolers? I have an old amd fx cpu that comes with one of those "jet engine" stock fan.

Anyway any reason why you choose to purchase from the carousell seller instead of sites like lazada/qoo10 as some have mentioned? It'll be cheaper purchasing certain components from these online sites after discount coupons and you'll be able to source the rest from sls.

No, not really. I just found it more convenient as i'm not familiar with lazada coupon system and not very sure who to trust on qoo10 as many sellers markup price alot

Interesting, but I won't buy it in time for that. I still need to buy poly laptop first then see what kind of budget I can put into the desktop.
My poly only start selling on 17 April.

Still looking for QHD monitor, anyone know a good but cheap one?
I'm not really into competitive gaming so I don't need insane refresh rates or response times but I love beautiful graphics so I think IPS will be better?

i got my monitor off lazada at ard 285, didn't had any promo codes back then as far as i know, but if stacked, prolly could have gotten it cheaper. local warranty everything bao ga liao.

my strix gpu ard 400 after stacking qoo10 60$ + instore 75$ discount.

both items shipped to my house safely.

ts can consider these sites favourably, since i'm sure most of us will share the discount/coupon codes.
