Planning to go down PC themes tomorrow. I should ask for warranty for entire set? I thought usually it is individual warrenty for each hardware.
Btw would you recommend to change to Ryzen 3700x instead of Ryzen 3600?

I'm not sure leh, never buy from them before

Ryzen 3700X is a 200 bucks topup from 3600
if you wanna further future proof your machine then

if don't need those extra cores, then 3600 is more than suffice ba

As of now, most games are not optimised for 8core 16 threads, so the higher cores are not helpful. People are speculating that it may become relevant in the future.

But I would propose that if you have 200 more to spend, why not spent it on a better gpu/monitor for performance now, rather than a 3700x for better performance in the future.

Talking about the future, AM4 is also supported until 2020. You can grab a ryzen 4600 or 4700x then. Your tomahawk max has 32mb bios capacity, and should be able to accommodate future, larger bios

How long in the future are we talking about ? I hoping my build can at least be relevant for next 5 years...

So should I get :
Option 1
Ryzen 3600 + RTX 2070 Super

Option 2
Ryzen 3700x + RTX 2070 Super

Option 3
Ryzen 3700x + RTX 5700 XT

Sigh so confusing...

Yes... Btw Cryorig H7 cooler sufficient for Ryzen 3700x?

Even the stock itself is good enough.
However, due to how the stock is designed, getting a tower cooler would disperse the heat outside of the case more efficiently, subjective on your casing and fans.

H7 is pretty much a few degree better than the stock. It is important to take note of the price though because the cooler price varies a lot and you could have gotten a cheaper one of similar performance or better one of same price range.

Nice. Will they call you when stock arrive?
Without mobo, you cant do anything to start the building process. Perhaps take picture and admire your fresh hoot :s13:

Thanks for the advice !
In the end I stick to Ryzen 3600 as likely to change CPU after 4 to 5 years

B450M Mortar Titanium
B450 Gaming Pro Carbon have?

I personally don't feel GPU is overkill cos you also need to factor in demands of future games 5 years down the road. So you need not worry to lower your PQ settings to maintain fps.

bro tbh i think 2070 super is not overkill at all for 4k leh, i just built my new 2600x com and reused my 1070, in AC:Odyssey I got like 30fps on med-high settings on my cheap 4k taobao monitor, made me turn on freesync for the first time.

I think 2070 super also will probably hit like 60fps only. Mayb is just that game too poorly optimized tho haha.

If anybody is curious, GPU usage was 99%, while CPU was 35% according to afterburner

AC:O is super demanding, Metro:Exodus too. At 4K ultra setting, very few cards can hit 60fps.

Some comparison below between 5700 (xt) and 2060/70 super
