h100i gtx or v2? v2 is updated version of h100i gtx right?
Correct. Or can get h110i which is even newer lol. All depend on budget and which look more appealing. There all work about the same and you won't notice a difference unless you consistently keep checking the temp all the way between two Cpu running two different aio :s22:

prefer air cooler to aio. is the hyper 212 evo still viable nowadays?
Still applicable. Many still buy this for oc using air cooler. Personally prefer aio for sleek look and led light. Hahaha. But air cooler work as fine too.

any other difference between define c/s and r5?

Difference to define S

R5:

-Have hdd cages (removable)
-Have optical drive cages (removable)
-one lesser front case fan
-window version's window smaller
-have front door than can swing open (you've to snap open the front cover of C and S to mount fans or clean dust filter)
-have fan speed controller (simple one)

C:

-shorter in length
-back fan mounting only can mount 120mm case fan.
-have psu shroud
-Dust filter for top intake (finally!)

Not sure if I missed out anything

dust filter for top intake is useful but defeats the purpose of noise containment right?

psu shroud is nice but since the window of R5 is smaller, we won't see the psu from the side?

well i am trying to decide which case to buy...R5 seems to be the best but from the reviews i read, its cooling really not as good and not enough when OC..but others are a bit noisy...just cant seem to find a good balance between cooling and noise..........
