You should add another 2gb ram. You should be able to play on some med settings @1080p

Monitor resolution 1440 x 900. I don't mind low settings and adding another 2gb. But when I tried to open the game it says failed to start game. So I'm wondering is it because of my specs being not up to date ?

Bro your rig uses DDR2 rams. make sure you have at least 4gb rams for your game to be smooth on win 7 64 bit.

your pc should be able to play at low to med settings. you can try to overclock your CPU and gfx card for more performance.

best if 2 x 2gb. 32 bit os is fine if you are maxing out your RAM at 4gb. cos the os will recognize only 3.5gb of RAM.

get any cheapest value rams will Do like gskIll or Kingston.

from online posts, ghosts still only runs on 64bit os. even if they patched the 6gb requiremt to 4gb, they didn't create any new 32bit game binary.

All depends on ur mobo... if it is very old, it can only accept DDR2. If it is new, it can only accept DDR3.

I feel it is a waste to put wins7 64-bit on such an old mobo/cpu. Go get a new CPU, mobo and ram and install wins7. Otherwise, you are just wasting it.

Thanks for the quick reply.

If I were to go for a new rig, is there any thing below that i can reuse? budget <$1000. no need monitor and OS. DVD drive i believe can reuse. if mostly cannot reuse then i might just get everything new and sell away this current rig.
