Need help for itinerary!

Hi guys,

Im visiting Taiwan for the first time frm 27Feb -6Mar. Taking scoot hence 5.30am i'll be at Taoyuan airport.

Can anyone recommend some nice places to go? My main purpose for the trip will be going hot spring, shopping, Taipei 101 and night markets (heard FengJia is the best)

I dont mind travelling down to TaiChung or Tainan if there is enough time.

for taipei, the tourist places are jiufen shifen yeliu yangmingshan and danshui loh. hotsprings can go to xinbeitou. shopping is wufenpu and ximending.. night markets can go raohe, ningxia, shida.. i personally like raohe and shida, not so much of shilin..

taichung is go cingjing farm, sun moon lake, taroko...

if u going further down to kaohsiung, i suggest u go kending which is 2-3 hrs away from kaohsiung.. the night market alot of nice food!

taipei is better to rent cab. jiufen shifen jgj keelung yeliu nanya yingyanghai
etc ... think per car is 3500ntd
if u go far, try window on china themepark + leofoo theme park
also go dan shuei, wufengpu, xinbeitou, 101 , raohe nm

taichung is far n expensive ...
bus shld be 2hrs + to 3hrs ...
hsr is 765ntd one way 50+ min ...

taichung have cingjing, sml, fengjia nm, yizhong, gao mei wetland
u can rent cab too, think is abt 3800 ntd

You will probably reach Taichung like 9am earliest?? Sure u wana book a driver and rush up and then down after landing from a redeye flight?

Day 2 is also need driver..Your Taroko as in Taroko Gorge?? It's not actually in Taichung by the way and definitely not possible..And likely too early for Sakura around that area..

Going up to cingjing and back to Fengjia NM? Doubt you wanna do that. It's like going from West to East to West

To see Cherry blossom? When is your travel period?
Missed out on 27th Feb till 6 Mar

Beitou has some sakura too. Maybe not as much as Alishan

Day 5: Taipei
- Wu Fen Pu, Rao He NM

Would it better if I hire a taxi driver to drive us around once we reach Tai Chung? I plan to spend 3d2n there. Actually the main attractions i hope to cover in Tai Chung would be:
- Cing Jing Farm, Green Green Grass Land, Little Swiss Farm
- Feng Jia NM,
- Yi Zhong NM
- Sun Moon Lake (My friend recommended me to go Qi Xing Tan @Hualien instead?)

QXT is the seafront and for cycling..

Taroko Gorge is accessible from Hualien..Looking at the number of days you have and the fact that it's ur first visit to Taiwan..

I reco that you visit just Taichung at most if not staying all the days in Taipei which is a good pace and place to spend all 7 days in..

Both i nv go before..SML i siam becos many tiongs..

SML alone would be probably 1/2 day or more..

Anyway, plan out the place u wana go, check out the time needed to travel to individual places and decide how many days u wana spend..9 days is not exactly alot so u can remove cross country(Taichung to Hualien)..3D2N spend in Taichung then the rest in Taipei..Good enough for 1st timer..

-Take Shuttle Bus To Taoyuan Station.
-Take Highspeed Rail to Taichung HSR Station.
-Go Lavender Cottage + lunch
-Xinshe Castle(Optional)
-Carton King - Taichung(optional)
-Feng Jia NM
-End Day~

Day 2 Then Go to Cing Jing
