Need help in Building New Computer Rig

Hi!

I need to build a new computer. With a budget of $800 without OS, monitor and kb n mouse. Main use of the computer will be to do web surfing and sometimes adobe photoshop(not high usage).

May want to be able to display up to 3 screen. may be able to play battlefield 4.

any recommendation?

$800 like not enough. If you intend to play 3 screens for bf4.

Reconsider your budget.

Can power up 3 screen, can play bf4 (high settings) , can handle photoshop

But can't play bf4 on 3 screen

He only mention the need to output to 3 monitor and play Battlefield 4 separately doesn't imply he will be playing BF4 on 3 monitors...

Yup i need 3 monitor to surf internet and not to play bf4.

7870 still not enough to power 3 screens unless you go for the 7870 eyefinity edition which will be half your budget gone.

Have tried the ghz edition. It did managed to pull thru 3 monitors just for internet purposes and other work purposes. But it will be a bit sluggish if you dont mind.

But on the other hand the powercolor 7870 myst can tahan 3 monitors.

and how much is this 7870 myst? is it way above my budget if replace 7870

Myst eol le. But might be able to find in sls. Is at $300 flat.

get a motherboard that support onboard gfx and insert another gfx card.

that will support 2 output on gfx and 1 x output onboard.

vga/dvi/hdmi

on a single gfx card hor

on board gfx card nothin plugin
plug in all 3 ports of a good xternal pci-e gfx card

We all aware your configuration will work, but our concern here points to the workability of outputting both IGP AND discrete graphics card to separate monitors simultaneously.

Thanks for the insight. Simultaneous integrated/discrete graphics output wouldn't work for me till even for my current Sandy Bridge system as i kept getting graphics controller conflict and running into safe mode. Therefore i had this thinking it will never work since heterogeneous support mainly works for discrete graphics AFAIK.

Sluggish as in not enough VRAM even for normal usage?
