Sluggish as in not enough VRAM even for normal usage?

Not sure leh. Despite 3 monitors doing just casual work the 2gb is gonna hit max.

last tried, the vram usage quite high. floating around 1.7gb already.

Either the eyefinity model or a faster gpu would do the trick. Cause ive tried myst it was fine.

There is a reason why the eyefinity 2gb model ones are able to support this 3 monitors and still remain usable. It was design for it. And there is a price to pay for it.

What i suggest lah, best is up the budget by a bit more. 7870 myst would do the job.

I wont wanna recommend a normal 7870 and wait you experience something not nice and is not gonna be what you want.

So i would just go ahead and recommend what you really need.

This would be able to run 3 monitors smoothly and able to game bf4 on single monitor.

If you got a bit more to spare can always try 7950 at $318 Powercolor.

Could it be something else sucking away VRAM running in the background then? I really cannot believe 5760 x 1080 @ 60 Hz needs so much VRAM to draw...

Also, there are other eyefinity cards with even lesser VRAM (HD 7770, HD 6450) but they still run those monitors fine no?

Dont think so leh. Cause it was a fresh install OS. And with all the updates done. But still cant perform well with it. So he went back to change for a myst edition instead and top the difference.

Possible, if using chrome can check through Chrome Task Manager (Shift + Esc in Chrome).

Then can conclude that the 2gb vram might be sufficient ba. Just that if open any tabs with flash base content the 2gb vram will no be sufficient enough. Or just hit almost max.

They don't have fsp Hexa power supply and powercolor r9 270 le...
They suggested gigabyte instead...

Keep insisting for them, look around the store for sign of any stock. Try walking away until they grab you back desperately. If really don't have, then consider getting FSP Raider 450W @ $75 or Super Flower Golden Green HX-500W @ $88, Sharkoon MS140 @ $52 and PowerColor HD 7870 2GB OC, R9-270X 2GB.

Nope, don't get the AMD system.

3330 more expensive than 3350p, performance difference negligible. You can bargain with the guy. Surely can get nearer to $800.

He mentioned that he do not have 3350p already as it is the 3rd generation.

That's why he recommended the 4570. what do u think about it ?

Why don't get AMD leh? any reasons?
