On top of these questions ah,
1)if i don't overclock i don't need to get the z series mobo is it?
2) So for the ram at 2133HZ is good enough? Then should I get the 1 stick 8GB or 4GB x2 ah?
3) And as for casing, I don't feel like getting mid tower casing, my previous one mid tower but take up a lot of space. Is the micro casing ok ah? Or doesn't allow airflow?

thanks thanks guys.
1)no need
2)yes because non z boards support up to 2133 . 2x4 gb is faster than 1x 8 gb because of dual channel
3)generally, the smaller the case the worst the air flow

Sent from Samsung SM-N920I using GAGT

Thanks for the detailed reply. My monitor is some 23 inch seasonic monitor. Should be 1080 60hz bah. So actually is 390 good enough ah?

As for i5 6500 and 6600, is there any difference? And the mobo also, what additional features does the gigabyte one have ah? I didn't know about that sorry hahaha.

And the Black Friday sale is go where buy one ah? Not simlim right?

6600vs6500 is only slightly better clock speed, but its kinda no worth for its price.

Probably not much maybe have more USB and display port or some have a a PCI slots or no PCI slots, etc. Difference is minimal, depends on what u want from the board.

Black Friday sales are online sales which happens on the day of thanksgiving day.
Can look @lazada or qoo10 in local or Amazon for overseas product.

1) yes. Get either h110, b150 or h170
2) yes unless u are doing task required faster ram den u to get z board. Dual channel or single channel really depends on the application u using as some have great benefits while most doesn't have much impact.
3)yes u can get mirco atx case. And airflow really depends on which case u getting as some have little airflow and some have more. Case fans also plays a role as well and the number of fans installed.

Windows 10 key have 2 type, one is tagged to Motherboard so have to call and transfer, 50/50 chance of success. Another is tagged to your Microsoft account / Live email account so that one is transferable easily.. 100% pass one, they will just do phone verification with you.

Google for the installer. You can download & create the bootup "disc" using a flashdrive instead. I think at least 4GB of space required.

During installing, they will ask for the CD key. If they don't, you need to enter it upon activation once installation ends.

Hi guys, thanks so much for the feedback ah. After reading through the feedback, I have narrow down to these parts:

CPU: Intel Core i5-6500
Motherboard: MSI B150M BAZOOKA PLUS or GIGABYTE GA-B150M-D3H
Cooler: Hyper212 *reuse*
Memory: KINGSTON 2133MHZ CL15 4GB x 2
Storage: Samsung EVO 120GB SSD or PNY 120GB
Storage: Hitatchi 1TB *reuse*
Video Card: Zotac/Palit GTX 1070 *If can get good deal during black friday*
Power Supply: SF 550W Silver (unless i reuse my 390 then i use 650W gold)
Case: techware alpha tax case

ok my questions:
1) for the motherboard, which one would you recommend? I have bad experience with MSI in the past and gigabyte has lasted me for very long, but people recommending MSI so can't decide haha.
2) The Hyper 212 I have reused for quite long maybe 3 years already? Is it advisable to reuse or buy new one?
3) the SSD PNY brand quite cheap, should I go for it or samsung?
4) The psu silver and gold is just efficiency right? Doesn't affect the com in the long run?
5) the windows 10 lets say I cannot reactivate it using my windows live account ah, I read here can go reddit get for 30 bucks is it? So I don't need to buy it when i go simlim right?

1)get gigabytes
2)clean and reuse.
3)if u are doing heavy workload get better SSD. otherwise PNY is still fine. or u can consider OCZ Trion 150 as well.
4) yes it does. but if u are not only always heavy load or 24/7. either one u s fine.
5)just deactivated and reactivate.

Sorry, abit noob here. for point no 5, how do u deactivate it then reactivate windows?

(I had previously a windows 7 OEM upgraded to windows 10. Can i still reuse onto a new motherboard?)
