Hi all,

I will like to assemble a pc around $2k range
(no need monitor,keyboard,mouse,speaker,window)

prefer build that can support nvme for current or future upgrade and might need upgrade to SLI in the 3-4 years down the road.

pc mainly/mostly for gaming and need help on pc assembly.

After 3/4 years, are you going to SLI the original card or buy a new graphic card to SLI?

For example if you bought GTX970 and plan to SLI 3/4 years later, it is almost impossible.

Because GTX970 has become obsolete as newer graphic card have replaced the GTX970. No retailer will be selling that card too.

- asus z170-a + i5 6600<---asus z170 change to h170 coz z for k series cpu more to overclocking purpose unless u go
-asus z170+i5 6600k
- asus gtx 970 4gb strix
- g.skill ripjaw 2666mhz (8x2)<---can get 8gb if u intend to play game oni 16gb more to video editing
- samsung evo 850 m.2 250GB
- corsair rmi 750w<----psu 500w to 600w enough
- fractal design r5
- toshiba idd 2tb

Yup, if not OCing your com just down size your mobo cpu, psu also bit much but if U gonna SLI then 700> would be safer.

980ti would be lovely compare to 970 SLI which could be a hassle.

And be wary of size of case when getting a bigger card GPU

@@ i also hope i can get a higher end graphic card but money not enough, i might not even need go sli if game do not need that much juice to run
I think the R5 can fit nicely for future addon

r9 390 win buy few fps but use more wattage/ power consumption
gtx 970 lose by few fps but use less wattage/ power consumption
