need help to build new pc

most likely my mb is gg.

i need help on mb brand.

isit recommend to buy i5 3400, ddr4? or buy AMD 7600?
any recommend?

mainly can use for utube, use adobe photoshop or edit video if possible haha
and support most general game... although i hardly play now

It depend on your budget. AMD ryzen 5000 is quite affordable now.

A older gen AMD 5700G with a B550 would be less than 400 now. DDR4 Add around 60-80 bucks for 16gb kit and another 60-100 for a NVME drive. 550-600 all upgraded.

then u will be re-using ur current gpu or buying new 1?

currently zen 4 is more future proof but the price not very friendly per performance.....
zen 3 is more price friendly.

For general usage just get Ryzen 5000, it has very good value and is also matured platform.

Ryzen 7000 is for people that want to get the most out of their 4000/7000 series GPUs.

i didn't do much research on 7000 series... this will be the base build, less than $950
the good thing about 7000 series is come with integrated graphics... so if ur gpu spoil, can run without graphic card. Good for troubleshooting. then future proof... at least for another 3~5 years.
Good enough for photoshop but not sure able to carry your video editing.
For reference only, u may seek others for more professional advice.

Got any clue what die is on the Gskill kit?

Cause I was thinking Kingston might be better since it is likely to be Hynix A die

No idea, mine is local set but local 5600 CL36 EXPO is about 10 dollars more than G-skill you listed

From the XMP kits that I checked through HWInfo (5600 CL-40 32GB and 64GB kit), the more recent production runs are using Hynix A-die

Since it is Hynix A-die, it should be able to work much more easily across most boards on XMP, and probably can do 6000 CL36 by manually setting and upping voltage slightly

i think for video editing should be fine because my current can do it but slow only haha
so new mb should be more faster
