CM HAF X 942 costs around $259 in Singapore. IMO, you should spend more on your important hardware such as gpu if you are getting a gaming rig.

Some things to take note when dealing with Tradepac:

• Be firm with your decision when buying from Tradepac. Don't be swayed by their sales assistant to upgrade and buy more expensive components which you don't require.
• Check all the components you plan to purchase are correct before you make payment.
• Stay at the shop and supervise them as they assemble your rig and make sure they return all spare chassis parts. You might want to take note that Tradepac cable management skills may not be up to your satisfactory level.

wow Thanks for the great recommendation ! Supervise while they setup my rig? I think i'd rather bring the parts home and assemble myself .... I've heard enough of scare stories about Sim Lim Square lol. Is processor also important for gaming ? was planning to get an I7 processor. But not sure about the overclocking thing. As overclocking always tends to heat up the com. If im buying a I7 quadcore processor which should i go for ?

Erm forgot to ask, for HDD that are 3TB do they have to be partitioned? or i can use it entirely as 3TB ? Some say that above 2TB, it has to be partitioned O.O

Overclocking a i5-3570k would get you better value as compared to getting a i7 processor.

For budget overclocking get a cooler master evo 220 cooler. Very value for money, looking to hit 4.2ghz at least.

If overclocking get a Z77 intel chipset, those comes with all the software you need to overclock on the fly. Recommended best value for money would be Asrock Z77 Pro 3. Don't get the M version, too compact not good for airflow.

All the benchmark result would prove it.

Any reasons why you want to get an i7? When it comes to gaming, i5 and i7 has no significant difference at all. Unless you are doing graphic rendering, i5 is good enough for your usage.

sorry for late reply, just gaming mostly, and running alot of programs simultaneously. guess in that case i wont be getting i7. i was wondering, they say AMD has bad customer service, and i used to use an AMD graphic card, and some games didnt support AMD graphic cards back then. Does it still have the same issue now? Kinda scared later the graphic card wont run some games :/ Thanks =)

i think overclocking will damage my motherboard and cpu fast...if i don't intend to overclock, what motherboard and cpu should i get? I usually just play games while skyping and browsing maybe around 10 tabs together at once? So im not sure which motherboard and cpu i should go for.

buy already can dont OC first. after 1 year you feel that its slow then you OC. at stock speed 3570k can handle all the current games.

oooo... im eyeing the Asrock Z77 Extreme 3 and Asrock Z77 Pro4-M Whats the diff between these 2 motherboards and which should i get ? Thanks. Choosing these 2 for the Dvi-d and the D-sub vga ports .... cos i wanna be able to use 2 screens at same time ._.
