Why 10G port connect to Nokia B2 when the Nokia B2 is just up to 1Gbps LAN port? Can use another 1Gbps LAN Port like what we did for 1Gbps network?Starhub 10Gbps plan typical setup

Likely the price will drop after it became common. Then all will sign up.10Gbps seems overkill, I personally use 500Mbps and find it more than enough to serve my online needs but after fiddling with homenetworking, I am aspire to grow my network to 2.5G or 10Gbps cos 1gig internal network isn't going to cut it anymore.
I used to pay over $70 for just 6Mbps in the early days of SCV cable but if 10Gbps is going towards that kind of pricing, I will definitely give it a go.
if it is a nationwide rollout then we'll see price drop since govt will push these ISPes else it will be just price cartel among these telcos fixing the 10Gbps to a certain price level to maintain profit margins.Likely the price will drop after it became common. Then all will sign up.
It seems like spending for 10Gbps Fibre broadband and become dual 1 Gbps Broadband. I wonder how come they can recommend users to connect the 10Gbps port to 1 Gbps port when you can connect using the second 1Gbps port on ONR for second node.Starhub 10Gbps plan typical setup

They are funny la, Nokia B2 is so so only.Starhub is trying to promote the Nokia Beacon 2, haha.
By right that 10G port is best to connect to a 10G switch, or at least a 10G capable devices (eg: computer or NAS, or 10G capable wireless AP).
Asus GT-AX11000 Pro and RT-AX89X can act as 10G capable wireless AP, but a bit wasted.
So those who signed at $90+ got ******?
$69 include Premier+, is a steal for some.just noticed from the link above starfug's 10Gbps dropped to $69So those who signed at $90+ got ******?

ehh... dun get fooled by their marketing, I looked at the Ultraspeed page nowhere its stated 10Gbps speed... only stated "up to 10x the speed of 1Gbps" so its not pure raw 10Gbps but only UP TOjust noticed from the link above starfug's 10Gbps dropped to $69So those who signed at $90+ got ******?

Afaik all the consumer plans are up to, not guaranteed even for 500Mbps.ehh... dun get fooled by their marketing, I looked at the Ultraspeed page nowhere its stated 10Gbps speed... only stated "up to 10x the speed of 1Gbps" so its not pure raw 10Gbps but only UP TO
Their 2 Gbps plans @$67.52 so how its possible to add only $2+ to get 10Gbps upgrade?
sure it is but at least most consumers won't get rekt since most of the affordable mass market networking equipments are just gigabit connections. Imagine you invested & upgraded your internal network equipments, routers, switches to 10Gbps and happily subscribe to the $69 Ultraspeed plan thinking you'll be getting full 10Gbps speed and end up getting like 2.5Gbps most of the time only?Afaik all the consumer plans are up to, not guaranteed even for 500Mbps.

ok make sense if they clearly states that 10Gbps as a trial else pple will be complaining why they cannot get 10Gbps like what you see in those 1Gbps threads in the early days.2) Starhub UltraSpeed 2Gbps Broadband with 10Gbps as a trial until 31 December 2023, (fall-back to dual 1Gbps plan if trial is not extended), S$69.30 per month, bundled with Premier+ (Premier League) for 24 months, Disney+ and Viu Premium for 12 month
Nokia all-in one XGS-PON ONR with WiFi 6
TP-Link Archer AXE300 WiFi 6E router top-up (to be configured in AP mode, as recommended by Starhub), 10G WAN + 10G LAN port + 2.5G LAN port + 4 x 1G LAN ports
Not so sure if Starhub allows bridging of the ONR.
Can change from 99 to 69 if you call Starhub and askjust noticed from the link above starfug's 10Gbps dropped to $69So those who signed at $90+ got ******?

may be in future all isp offer $69/ mth.10Gb/s at $69 most probably means the actual price is $138 so the $69 will revert to $138 at some point of time in the future. Just guessing the most logical outcome.

I hope 10Gbps will be our new standard for all isp.Singtel is usually charging the highest price for the plan. It is now charging S$137.72 per month with free GT-AX11000 Pro (Singtel claims that it is worth S$759, and indeed Challenger is selling GT-AX11000 Pro at S$759). So S$138 may be the ceiling price for the 10Gbps plan.
Starhub is giving an all-in-one ONR, or you can top up for TP-Link Archer AXE300 at S$7 per month (total S$76.3 per month, with free Premier+ (Premier League) for 24 months, Disney+ and Viu Premium for 12 months).
Basically Starhub is charging similar price to the 2Gbps plan (dual 1Gbps plan) for UltraSpeed trial. After all, Starhub mentioned the following in their FAQ.
https://www.starhub.com/personal/support/article.html?id=kD5GRQtfxB3LxaEDMjuFm5UltraSpeed is a 2Gbps broadband plan with a 10Gbps broadband trial to give customers an extra speed boost. We hope to continue the delivery of up to 10X the speed of 1Gbps Fibre Broadband after the trial, subject to regulatory approvals.
