actually if really got $$ and die die must get Astrea, can go secondary market to get the Astrea IV USD A-2 bonds. the YTW is currently around 4.7%. kanna called 1 year earlier some more. better than Astrea V USD A-2 at 4.5% and way higher than Astrea V retail SGD 3.85%.

the 4.5% is nice but USD is not. With Fed easing this year and SG on currency manipulator watch list, there is some chance that USD will weaken against SGD at least until Jan 2021 when there is a new president..

I'm stating the obvious, but those unlucky persons who applied for >=$50K and got zero allocation (because of the ballot), made an instant (small) loss on their investment in Astrea V bonds. I wonder whether any of these persons may be regretting that he/she ought to have applied for <=$49K instead? Or is it OK for him/her?

Anyway, for the unlucky ones hope you have better luck with Astrea VI.

only focus on one side of the story? how about the other side of the story where people who press 50K and got the allocation get 16K units compared to people who press 49K who gotten 7K units only. Coin always got 2 sides la bro.

i was referring to astrea IV A-2 which MC 1 year earlier.

USD has run up a fair bit in recent weeks and currently has retraced slightly. forex works both ways. got risk but also can gain. I recently sold my USD bond bought 74 days ago..:s13: (stated in the statement). enjoyed the run up of the USD. :D

I applied and asked a family member to apply. I got 18,000, family member got 0.
