Anyone know if the speed of heya is better than Simba?
IMHO.
Maximum speed for Heya is about 121/23 Mbps ( Down/Up ).
IIRC, connectivity wise, some feedback that at locations with a lot of foot traffic e.g. MRT or big events, TPG could be better.
For myself, the last I tested at my home location, TPG is less than 5 Mbps ( Down/Up ) usually most of time is not usable where Heya I have full speed.
I also know of another location that TPG was 0.41/1.85 Mbps thus totally unusable vs Heya 89.4 / 20.9 Mbps.

I see. Thanks. I am thinking of switching to heya to try because my simba even at home. The signal bar is always either 3 or 4 out of 5.

Can I also check for the heya sign up? I just need to bring my IC to the physical store to sign up right? No fee or anything right (The website doesn't seem to say anything else) ?

Yes IC is always required for new line applications.

Signal bar is least of the concern for me. Just too many users around my home area making it unusable.

I am changing in about 3weeks time as I just renew my simba
I was pleasantly surprised by the speed of Simba. Previously, I only received 3 Mbps download speed and 5 Mbps upload speed in my area, but the support informed me that this was normal for the area. However, I disagreed and decided to switch to another provider as I felt that the service wasn't targeting customers like me.

I recently helped my wife to port in from m1 Maxx to Heya (her mobile no is under my name / IC)

Heya-retailer.jpg

Went to Mobile Conceptz (near Bukit Batok MRT station) but they dont accept port in, only new signups.

Then I went to Lee Hwa Mobile and managed to port in. Btw, just flat $10, no extra costs for sim card, etc.

After the port in, there is 100GB data, and after a few days, Heya add extra 50GB, so total 150GB data. Not sure the extra 50GB is it for 1st to 3rd mth.

hi, which retailer did you sign up with? I contacted a few in the west side listed in this pdf (https://www.singtel.com/content/dam/heya/pdf/where-to-get-heya.pdf) but almost all charged $10 extra for sim card while others charged $5 above and beyond the plan. Is this normal?
IMHO.
AFAIK, it is not normal. Perhaps you can feedback to Heya on their FB and ask them which shop doesn't do that ? I went to one shop in Geylang and Hougang, both also charge me the $10 flat.
