I've also just received my refurbished 2015 macbook pro 13" with 8GB ram and 512GB SSD. It's in brand new condition, absolute new.

I think the existing new stock of 2015 macbook pros are sold as refurbished after the new 2016 are announced. The 2015 refurbished has been available for very long. Usually within a few days, some popular configuration will be sold out.

Yours came in refurbished box or retail box?

Macbook pro non retina 2012. So can DIY upgrade SSD and ram, cheaper

Unless it's damn cheap, personally I don't think it's worth it. Unknown history of the machine (if there is any abuse by previous owner or not), and definitely no more warranty even if it had AppleCare.

my thoughts as well..looking at the mbp 2015 on apple store website and thinking of getting the 3.1ghz processed + 16gb ram + 512gb hard disk..price is much lower than the new ones and with more usable ports..

any comments?

I am interested in getting 15" 2015 too.

How vast is the performance difference between M370X and Radeon Pro 450?

If the difference is marginal, I would get 2015 model.

mine no change yet still shows 21 - 28 November. Should've ordered faster - hesitated when it initially showed 2- 3 weeks then when I finally committed it slipped to 3 - 4 weeks

Mine finally moved to PFS sometime last night :s12:

Ars Technica reported significant performance improvement in gfx performance (2016 MBP 13 vs 2015 MBP 13) :

Can't wait to ditch my Early 2015 MBP 13 once I get hold of my Late 2016 :D
