Yo. Your mobo is full atx. You will need a define C instead of mini C as the mini is meant for mATX.I know this is above budget, but just to share for anyone else who might be reading. I was just trying to spec a x99 rig broadwell-e rig a few days ago, just under the 2.5K mark. $2445 for this build without OS:
6800K + MSI SLI PLUS X99A - $1003
KINGSTON 2133MHZ CL15 16GB x 2 - $162 x 2
CRYORIG R1 UNIVERSAL COOLER - $139
Toshiba 2TB 7200RPM - $97
Fractal Design Define Mini C mATX Casing - $129 LZD
Superflower Leadex Silver 90+ Full Modular 650W $129 LZD
Samsung SSD 850 EVO Series 500GB $239 LZD
ZOTAC GTX 1060 Mini 6GB $385 LZD
Prices using PCT as reference unless otherwise stated.
Looking at the preliminary tests by Puget, Ryzen does look attractive.
Regarding casing, take off the matx ones and consider which one best looking for you.
Tecware Edge ($69)
Xigmatek Frontliner ($69)
Tecware Alpha ($79)
Corsair Spec 03 ($95)
Phanteks Eclipse P400 TG ($139)
Fractal Design Define C ($149)
Corsair Carbide 400C ($158)
