Just tried syncing my iPhone 3G and iTunes prompted me that there is a new carrier settings update.

Anyone updated? Any changes especially tethering?

Do you incur additional charges while tethering? Blackberry does but I am not sure about iPhone. Any of you guys and girls can clarify? Thanks!

We have data plan... so when we tether we are using our data plan.

Didn't check previous carrier setting.

My dad's Blackberry is on data plan. He incurs charges if he tethers. For iPhone, is it the same although you have data plan? Do you have to pay to tether even if you have a data plan?

My dad is using BlackBerry Bold 9700. Got 3.5gb data plan. When he tether he incur charges for using the service I think. So I wanna double check if iPhone got the problem or not. HA

I think I can change. But what can I do with APN. Sorry for n00b question. :D

Can you double confirm? cause all the while starhub users are not able to change their APN setting. APN setting means for data+mms. The server.
