the entire show is garbage tbh
the supposed old casts are all too young and their makeup is crap. i see the yi deng look damn yandao and his fake beard is totally fake as fck. like i dont understand how the makeup artist got the job
they purposely chose all young yandao actors to act as supposedly older characters and they dont look the part. michelle doesnt have the "gu dian" mei but i dont feel she's the worst cast though....... i felt the production crew told her to act that way to differ from past xiao long nv which destroyed the character totally.
if she had normal hair like in the past episodes she would have been ok. not great but ok.
it's THAT bad. all the makeup is horribly done not what i expect from professionals.
i think the art direction is wrong, casting is wrong, the entire script is fcked up too.
it's second worst, only for the tian long ba bu (also by yu zheng) to take the first spot. that one is horrible to the max i'd rather stare at paint dry
yu zheng is ruining all the shows, honestly he's so talentless that i hope he stops what he's doing
