I'm ok with the ZBT, much tamer compared to previous series, but still got the feng feng dian dian attitude.

Hong 7 Gong for me is super CMI. Worst 18 palms ever.
Makeup CMI, actor CMI. Maybe past Hong 7 Gong too satki already, make this one look very bad. And I thought the worst was the 2003 Li Yapeng version Hong7. Didn't know it could be even worser.

The CGI is actually less dramatised and elaborate which is just fine.

I agree that the 洪七公 on whole not very 入格。

i am also perfectly fine with less CGI... i'm not here to watch a computer animation... if u over-do the CGI it just becomes ridiculous and fight too long it'll sacrifice on the story too... should strike a balance between amount of effects/duration of fight and story.... so far i think it is doing quite okayl... (i'm only at eps 8 now though) ...

Its just a gossipy game show. You can see that she's very refined and elegant.

I think her facial proportions are superb. The host mentioned about her face could be covered with one palm.

I never read the novels before but in baidu tieba, they say her Huang Rong feels very close to the original classic which is less the xiao yaonu and gives off an air of playful elegance.

Did this LYT do any plastic surgery? Her facial features are damn superb. Even the proportion is good, and her face is almost palm size only. Her complexion is also very fair, and she's very refined and graceful in her actions likely due to her dancing background. She looks even better without makeup.

Out of topic.. I only know of one female lady who looks good even without makeup. One look at her and ppl will go "whoa"... Needless to say, she's very popular in her uni and subsequent workplace.

In the novel, i believe HR is not "devilish" but more like very unorthodox and unpredictable. She is extremely kind, sweet and caring to GJ and Hong 7 gong but yet she is cruel, selfish and un-remorsefully playing pranks to people she dunno, and has no hesitation to injure or kill people she don't like.

She tried to bully her "potential love rival" MNC and even threatened her with dagger. But once the misunderstanding was cleared, she opened up and became very sweet to her. Another example was how she instructed GJ to kill OYK after he got injured. Or how she wanted to silence sha-gu to prevent her from blurting out their whereabouts. She's really rude to people she don't like.. e.g. calling GJ's teachers smelly priest, shortie, fatty, disgusting, etc.

She didn't know what is kindness and righteousness until she met GJ. On the other hand, GJ, even though he is skilled, righteous and upright, he is naive and dim-witted.. both are totally different but they need each other to complement each other's weak points to brave through the adventures in the pugilistic world.

That's why I really like this compared to ROCH and HSDS. HR is a joy to watch, especially her banter with Hong 7 gong and ZBT.

Any LOCH that is nice.. Is largely dependent on how the actress huang rong carries the show. If huang rong is not likeable, then the show will fail to impress. That's how crucial her role is.
