Thanks.

I supposed the thickness will be slightly more when released by the different gaming manufacturers with overclocking

Hmm, not sure why u dont get it. You mentioned overclocked card... guess you are referring to model that comes with twin/triple fan cooler etc. Titan X is using only reference design.. its not using aftermarket cooler. So technically, all Titan X are the same. 1 Design.

The Titan X have only 1 height, and one type.

If TX card wont fit, none of the high end air cooled card will. Period.

You mean there won't be any overclocked Titan X cards like the 1080?

Its only available at Nvidia store and no where else. Not even EVGA have the new Titan X this time (as confirm by Jacob).

So you will only see 1 kind of Titan X. No OC variant.

Still waiting for the 1080 ti :(

Might not even have one.... from here they might go to something like Titan X with HBM2 12/16GB or straight to Volta architecture... don keep your hopes too high...

This Valk predict sibei zhun one, the last time he predict Maxwell Titan X has no DP compute he tio!

So no need wait le, at most vega match 1080 liao NV will lower 1080 to match like $499 and den drop Titan X price back to $999. They no need to release Ti to compete if Vega didnt beat 1080 (which is more or less the case).

Nvidia will most likely refresh with 1100 series earlier if Vega is really a threat, and the new GTX 1180 will be massively cut down GP102, 1 GPC disabled like that and sell for $700-$800 (With FE)

Ti might never exist.

Very nice info video analysis.

It will come to a point where there is a limit to everyone spending on a GPU. Even if the 1080ti were to be faster at 2X% and Titan X at 30% faster than the 1080, is anyone willing to fork out that much money on a GPU?

Certainly this time round their GPUs is indeed very expensive for its performance. I certainly still do feel a pinch of paying $1.2k or more for GPU. Its isn't really about chasing tech anymore. More on whether is it feasible, and is it worth paying if one has no capabilities.

For once, i'm not chasing the top end card liao. Jin sad that the top end card has to be the most expensive card that probably cost $1.5k range.

And i think Nvidia is always one step ahead of AMD, whatever AMD has to offer, is just a push button to counter offer something better and something higher performance.

Just like 780 vs 290x which 290x was already above the original Titan, and forces Nvidia to come out with the 780ti.

Same goes to the Fury X, which was above the 980, and they came out the 980ti and Titan X.

Its really interesting 2 companies fighting for the first spot and only the green still comes out on top.

Interesting read.... Volta or 2nd gen Pascal (whatever Nvidia wants to name) might be here sooner than what we expected...

Enjoy your current Pascal gpu as it maybe one of the shortest lived architecture... :D

http://wccftech.com/nvidia-roadmap-2017-volta-gpu/

Take wccftech with a pitch of salt, i finally understand they like those conspiracy website

Lets face it, unless volta is going to be disappointing in performance jump, it wont arrive in h2 2017. Whatever is coming on that year is not going to be ground breaking.

In fact a 2017 version of volta is simply pascal with no dp + ace hardware and Hbm, which means almost no ipc buff except dx12 ace boost.

There is gp102, gp100 that has yet to utilised which make me believe pascal will last tad abit longer. Maybe early 2018 volta will drop.
