Objectively, selling would have indeed be a good outcome. This company is not viable on its own - poor product, losing market share.

Now taxpayers have to keep this zombie afloat. Dont understand why people dont see that, only want to politicize it.
they earn the difference between cost to underwriter and price customer pay right?
hear from many their operating cost is low compared to other insurer

Objectively , there can be things done to turn it around and they are not LOSING money anyways..

JUST NOT ENOUGH PROFITS. . .

"I am heartened that Income has accepted the court’s judgment upon reflection, and recognised that they could have done better. While I appreciate that Income will have to exercise rigour and due process, but Income must balance such matters with greater empathy and compassion."

which part of that indicates that anyone in Income has taken responsibility for this saga ? not only loss of legal costs and expenses fighting, also massive reputational loss

“Deep/deeply” seems to be his favourite words.

Agoda’s retrenchment - “deeply disappointed”

Deep concern is better than monitoring.
He has monitor enough to be deeply concerned thus making his salary worthwhile.

shouldnt he challenge the insurance dept at the first instance of the mishandling of the insurance claim instead of condoning the case to be challenged in court? wasting time / effort and legal fees
