is this Sin Ming Road BKT good?

Its chinese style (pepperish) not klang style. I thought that their pepper ribs were too tough, not tender. It is hard separating it from the bones.

Do not know any good ones in yishun. I recommend the one at Song Huat Bak Kut Teh (Rocher). Go try before it close down to make way for new highway.

i had their BKT @ their new outlet, surprisingly tender. The old stall's meat was tough man.

Sorry but Song Fa @ Rochor damn lousy leh. Worst BKT ever.

Those who drive in to truly Asia can try kiang kee bkt. About 50 mins away on the route towards kota tinggi.

I like Ng Ah Sio at the Teochew association. Less crowd. Got parking. Aircon

After Jumbo took over, Ng Ah Sio has gone down the drain. I went to the original outlet at Ah Hood road recently and ate a few mouths, paid up and left.

Have eaten Song Fa at Circular Rd as well as the Ya Hua BKT along Keppel Road. Even though Ya Hua's portion is smaller but I still prefer the soup which seem to be more peppery.

I also frequent 2 more stalls in the east.

1) Ng Ah Sio - Tg Katong (Peppery too, not bad)
2) Klang claypot BKT - New Upper Changi Road Block 59 (Herbal style BKT with other decent dishes like claypot chicken etc..
