I think NSP hit a gold mine, probably serendipitously. She's captured the young voters' imagination, and the attention is momentarily drawn away from the heavyweight GCT.

GCT has to fight a lot harder by making TPL look better. For example, the team let TPL tell the media that she clinched a deal with hawkers to keep price steady for 6 months.

An uphill fight NSP, and would have been worse without Nicole.

If TPL had added that she's been too busy with the grassroot work that she didn't find the time to bring her parents, the effect may be different.

I think you first need to understand about the word "greatest regret" is that things you can do later or undo is not of regret but things that cannot undo is. Whether a person is busy or not can eventually find time to bring parents to RWS should not be classify as regret, but if you cannot undo this (parents not around anymore) then its is greatest regret.
