You know why so many people? A lot of these people either come from the hardcore 20-30% opposition supporters or from other GRC. These supporters actually mobilizes and meet the team they want to support. But election cannot be won with just 20-30% of support. This is why you see large turnout but not actual votes. The most important people any opposition parties need to reach out is the fence sitter. People need to understand this.

Each ward will have 20-30% hardcore oppo and 30-40% PAP hardcore. It means about 30-50% of fence sitter up for grabs.

Last election LKY's death helps PAP but nothing more so than the powerful message from bookies showing PAP defeated in many wards. It sent shockwave to this group and the results shows how they voted after. Pyscology is very important. Get the votes anyway possible. Now the media and critics showing opposition being decimated, just let it be. Let these group of people to really think hard if they wanted this situation with zero opposition representation. Stop saying opposition will win and make these group of people think it is OK not to vote for opposition. So use your freaking brain. Sympathy votes are critical in current climate.

It may be white now but can turn blue with the right colour mixing. NS can be the catalyst that bring the clear blue sky to EC. There is a chance for EC to be rejuvenated. No one & no place is never too old to change. It can be reborn and start a new beginning. NS & the rest of her team can bring along the change through their youthfulness & energy. These are their strengths they can capitalize on to engage the residents . A plan without involving the residents may not be the best for them. EC can be made the place where dreams come true.
