What TPL post was definitely intended to put down Nicole Seah / NSP and therefore enhance her own standing, hence it is election advertising.

But Nicole's was just updating the fact she will be at the voting booth which isn't something to promote or enhance her standing since everybody has to go vote anyway.

Although the second part of her post about the complaint/report might be taken as a round about attempt to bring down the opposing candidate's standing in normal cases, we all know it's not really possible for TPL's rep to go any lower

That's what I thought too. Spoken with my lawyers friends, they say TPL case is very serious. The police report is the first step. I cannot reveal what will happen next but according to my friends, TPL is unlikely to get away with it unless PM Office/Election Dept/Police/AG are one entity.
