As my room gets dusty often need a case with easy to remove dust mesh for cleaning. Any recommendations to go along with the build I am planning to buy and any improvement I can change in the build?

Planning to get from Tradepac from SLS

Current pricing now is 1990

If it is just a 3600, drop the mb to a B450 will do. Doubt you need the bell and whistles of a X570. Also, as it is just a 3600, H100i cpu cooler is way overkill. Try using stock AMD cooler 1st and change to others if temps are crawling too high. Remember to get thermal paste.

For rams, i prefer to get Klevv Bolt X 2x 8GB 3200mhz as compared to Corsair as they are known to have some issues with AMD cpu.

For psu, can consider Seasonic Focus Plus GX-650 as alternative.

I dont think TS should drop X570 from his build. He gets to use PCIE Gen 4 and Future Ryzen support.

He is reusing his 860 evo from previous build and seems to have no intention to buy nvme pcie gen 4.0 ssd. Dun think he need to spend extra on this. Beside, this board still supports for future ryzen support, at least 1 gen later. If he upgrades like every 3-5 yrs, dun think future ryzen support matters much though.

From my option, he wanted to have wifi6 card ba, only x570 have compatibility on wifi6, therefore he chose tuf gaming, i would suggest u to check on amazon and newegg for the price and compared with sls vendors, sometimes online is much cheaper but provided u are not rushing to new build

I hav no issues with corsair kits b4 my current ones, seems ok leh, never heard of major issues unless u are going to extreme oc with corsair kits

Agreed based on how much TS is spending on his board. If he is getting Asrock B450 Pro4 which cost SGD101, then go for b450.

But tomahawk which is 185 then might as well top 48 get x570 at 228

Msi b450 tomahawk max at $185 is from lzd? If comparing to asus x570 gaming tuf, thats $374 in lzd as well. Not fair to compare local low end board to overseas high end. Must be 1-1 as much as possible.

sorry to derail, but what is your opinion on fd focus g mini?

Decent choice as well but the side panel is Acrylic plastic instead of TG. It is cheaper though because of this. Stock is pretty scarce though, they go OOS very frequently.

Another choice is Silverstone PS15. Decent mesh case. A small problem with PS15 is a short CPU Cooler clearance. As long you are not building something high end or using a big cooler, something a Cryorig M9 can cool, it should be fine.

I used it for a fren build but i dun find it as well designed as nr600. Got a few areas that need improvement like pci bracket insertion. Keep getting stuck due to slightly off design, nt sure if its qc issue or design fault. In the end had to bend the gpu pcie bracket teeth a little to fit in. At $79-$89, i will spend a bit more for nr400/nr600.

I am using the Lian Li PC-O11 Dynamic Razer Edition and here are my thoughts after using it for the past 6 weeks: -

  1. Great looking premium case with front and side tempered glass
  2. Does a good job of keeping dust out as there are magnetic filters on the top, bottom and side where the air vents are located
  3. Very well built, provides a lot of flexibility as to how you would like to configure your PC (can mount AIO radiator to the side or top)
  4. A lot heavier than what I expected
  5. Airflow is a little restricted due to the filters - cant have everything and I'd rather have slightly higher temps than dusty components!
  6. It's an expensive case so may not be for everyone

New build? Wait for b550 motherboard.
You might want to consider 5700xt to fully utilize PCIe 4.0

For case, want cheap go tecware else choose Corsair so it match your cooler and ram:D
