If buy from overseas, we still need to pay GST of about $180 plus. Unless want to throw the boxes away when bringing in. Maybe should wait for a couple of months for the price to drop. But the temptation is so hard to resist now....

The boxes can be flattened.

$2780 should be the norm price now... waiting for it to drop further.. still got my D7000..

box can be flattened and placed under your clothes.... not so sway one..

Imagine if u have fx lenses, then when the zoom is out of reached, u switch to dx, and tada u increased the zoom to 1.5

D600 can switch to dx mode. So with the same lens in dx mode, you get a focal length boost by 1.5x

You didn't. Effectively, you dropped the outer pixels for a smaller image which you can do the same in photoshop.

Your focal length didn't change, only angle of view.

For DX cameras it's slightly different, the full amount of MP on the sensor is what you get.

For FX, you are throwing away pixels when you shoot in DX. That's all.

yep... if you shoot in FX mode it'll be 24mp .. but in DX mode will be approximately 16mp

nope it is 10megapixel only..:s22: so i rather shoot in FX then crop...

:s22: feel like hooting... but my birthday present was d7k.. so cannot sell...

waaah all of you poison people.. if indonesia $2450.. its like d700 2nd hand price many moons ago sia
