No more free shipping liao from Amazon US to Singapore if total amount cost USD125. They have end this promotion. After black Friday sale...this happen

It really does not matter that much...Most games in the USA are much more expensive than buying locally with promo codes...Other than the Black Friday sales on certain games, most games are definitely cheaper getting locally...

It affects importing limited edition game.
Be prepared for increase in local price of LE game. Though they already mark up quite a lot now, so maybe it doesn't matter much in the grand scheme of thing.

Dude maybe you are the one who fail math lol.
AUD399 is around SGD410 which is more expensive than USD299 = SGD402.6
For clarification I use google rate for both numbers. In reality you will pay more than those by around 3-4%

You failed badly in both your math and currency only Brunei and Singapore $ is the same $1 to $1

http://www.mas.gov.sg/Currency/Curr...-between-Brunei-Darussalam-and-Singapore.aspx
He's not wrong lah. Sure, Brunei currency is pegged to SG currency, always 1 to 1 exactly. But currently 1 AUD is around 1.03 SGD, close enough. For that matter, 1 CAD (Canada) is around 1.06 SGD, also very close.

His mistake is that he took a USD 299 product and assumed it is AUD 299 also, it's actually AUD 399.

He is definitely wrong on the Australia Switch is cheaper than Jap Switch part. Will just use AUD as currency for comparison.

Australia Switch is selling for AUD399.
Japan Switch is selling for 29980 Yen. 29980 Yen =AUD349

How many games for the Nintendo Switch are limited edition?

Importing Fire Emblem Warriors Special Edition, the shipping is only US$8...

Importing Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Special Edition is US$12.48...

This did not factor in discounts such as Fire Emblem Warriors SE sold by Amazon at US$76.95 (MSRP US$79.99) or Xenoblade Chronicles 2 SE at US$82 (MSRP US$99.99)...Or that you can ship to a forwarder to ship the Limited Edition games...

If you buy Limited Edition games from Amazon, with discount by Amazon, you might still be paying below MSRP after including shipping or that it might be slightly above MSRP...You won't be affected as much...

If you just want to buy the normal version, buying locally will definitely be cheaper than buying from Amazon....

Just take triple-A tittle with MSRP US$59.99...how much do you think the price is in SGD and compare it to local retail price? I have been buying triple-A games at S$40-50+...I can never get it at the price even if I am a Prime member and with FSSG...

Go for the cheapest option and must be able to adapt and take advantage of whichever that can get you the game at the lowest price possible...

just did this a few mins ago for an order i placed yesterday. it's a bug on Amazon's side. just discuss nicely with their tech support and everything will be sorted out so long as your order meet the requirements (which i knew long ago about).

Amazon SG now offers free international shipping if you spend 60SGD and above for international order (read as Amazon.com import). You have to do the purchase via app. Sure, it has a smaller range of goods as compared to purchasing directly from Amazon.com but it seems like they are adding more products daily.

Cant complain 60SGD (44USD) vs 125SGD for free international shipping. They have also "upgraded" the free shipping delivery speed from the previous 12-16 days to 7-9 days.

Prime Now offers free 2-hour delivery for orders over S$40 with items available locally and free delivery for orders over S$60 with items from the international selection of millions of additional items from the US.

TL;DR: Lower spending requirement for free and faster international shipping.

I agree with you, but it still affects us, no?
Previously I could buy XBC2 LE at US$82. Now have to pay US$95. For comparison Qisahn sold it at S$170 ~ US$126.
Definitely even with this change any Limited Edition best to buy overseas and normal edition buy locally.
Prime member nowadays useless since it doesn't apply to LE anymore. That and normal edition games are way cheaper here.

Only small impact...How many people here buy most of their Nintendo Switch games on Amazon?

For other items, such as electronics, clothings and boardgames are definitely much more affected compared to buying Nintendo Switch games...

Also MSRP for Xenoblade Chronicles 2 SE in the USA is US$99.99...So now you have to pay $95 which is still below MSRP and does not need to chalk up US$125 which is sometimes unnecessary purchases to get free shipping, and you are still not happy paying below MSRP?

Like I say, other than Zelda, Fire Emblem Warriors and Xenoblade Chronicles 2, how many other Special Edition Nintendo Switch games are you trying to buy from Amazon USA?

What do you get from the special edition games actually? Is it worth all the extra money?

I just bought stardew valley (hoping multi-player will come on switch soon) and lovers in a dangerous spacetime for my gf and me to play tgt and I've been really impressed with lovers in a dangerous spacetime considered I got it at only $15 in the eshop.
Looking forward to buy Overcooked and Death Squared next!
Do you guys think they'll ever make these games online co-op one day cause most times I'm alone but I still want people to play with.
And are there actually any online co-op games already available?
