Really? I haven't heard about a fix, nor Nintendo acknowledging it's a problem in the first place. What has Nintendo done to fix it? Did they add more padding inside the dock? Did they change the material of the Switch's body to be scratch-proof? Did they change the dimension of the dock so that parts have no chance of coming into contact? (Or was the problem with 'some' launch units just another unexplained 'manufacturing variance'?)
Or is it that people are more aware of the Switch getting scratched by the dock, so they are more cautious when docking/undocking and take additional precautions (3rd party dock solutions, usb C cable extending the port to outside the dock so no docking needed, applying protective casings, etc.)?
If Nintendo didn't change anything, it would be foolish to expect different results.
