Well you can change your account region with a web browser. I don't see any reason to create multiple accounts for access to multiple regions unless you don't want the hassle of changing it as and when you want to access another region's eshop.

Like you said ... Hassle ... playing then need to get a laptop or celphone just to change region ... its up to your preferences ... just a thought

Another reason to use multiple accounts is because you cant switch region until you have used up all the balance in the wallet. Tried switching from US to Jap eshop and got the below error.

Got the same error when i tried switching my Canadian account to Jap.

Yea... well for those who are thinking of using only 1 account for multiple regions, do not store/top up excess credits in the account.

actually it's weird right, we understand the need for different eShop for currency purpose, but why not if one game is develop in one country ... why not make it available for the rest of the region. some games are like that but the others are just simply available in one region particularly in Japan

No choice, Japan is where Nintendo is, so they will not care to do up multiple languages for some games. Although in terms of sales it doesn't make sense

i buy games on the website eshop. will deduct the exact amount from my credit card into my Nintendo account before using the same amount for the game.

Yes ... I also buy and download from Japan for my snipper clip game ... and it is in English ... my wife enjoy playing it. ... if your not a fan of cartridge swapping anytime you want to play another game and go on buy it digital but like me i like a hard copy mostly of my games ... i tend to buy a physical one.

Yes, Japan new 2ds xl is still bound by region protection, ie you can only play games fron Japan region.
