wonder if the price is consider cheap ¥ 5,236. think of getting together with splatoon 2 (eng too?) https://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/product..._act_title_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=AN1VRQENFRJN5

Subtotal of products: ¥ 10,002
Shipping fee : ¥ 1,265

The Amazon reply is wrong. Splatoon 2 Jap version does not support multi language. ARMs/Mario Kart/Zelda Jap version does come with multi language.

It should look like below if the game has multi language option.

thanks for the replies! what about local new 2ds xl? can play games from which region?

Wrong place to ask but I'll answer.

The 3DS system and by extension, 2DS of any generation (original and new) is region specific.

If your console is a Japanese set, it will only play Japanese games. If your set is from USA, it will only play USA games. I did a quick search and our local sets are basically the same as USA region.

I believe that the Japanese version is independent from the other regions.

If you look at Splatfest results for Splatoon 1, there are 3 regions. US, Europe and Oceania and Japan.

Splatoon 2 still have the same regions.

BTW... a few posts back, it's noted that the Japanese version is Japanese text only. No English text.
